The Right PEGs - Ozzy | |
| Well back again so what have I done this month well that’s easy I started painting and yes I’m now boz-eyed. So the plan is to try and get at least 4 core units this month well another box of marauders(£15) and 3 more blisters of daemonettes (3x6=£18) should bolster the line nicely. So how about that for a simple colour scheme. Now if I’m not really going to make the units stand out with different colours I could quite easily make the bases stand out but how? That’s the key! well how about painting symbols on the surface so that when put in their units a bigger symbol is revealed that’s the artist in me talking. But how to make them stand out on the battle field well two units of 24+ marauders should be a bit intimidating also get the point of strength in numbers across. Failing that a heavy end of a hammer blow should make an impression. So twelve daemonettes that’s not really that big!! Would two 18 sized units sound more impressive (plus a lot more pleasurable but for who is another story). Yet a bit more hitting power never hurts so an aspiring champion could be a good thing but why not make it a peg with a whip of pleasure for those more pointed conversation’s that crop up between characters – not modelled on yet, but it’s on the to-do list; I need copper wire first. Fear is going to be a key for my future survival, and a few victories to boot, I hope. So how to make the best of this tool as it could be my most powerful tool? Anything as strong as the use of psychology is helpful to any general on the battlefield. It is the best tool to use against dwarfs and any other high leadership troop types out there. Now I will have to find some decent names and some history but playing games usually brings all that together, but points wise I now have around 1900 and a few games will start the background off. So wish me luck back to the pub - oops, I mean art. | |
